Alexander got a special New Year's treat with a slice of Pizza Hut pizza
(for the truly anal-retentive amongst us, it was a hand-tossed Supreme!).
The slice was run through the Cuisinart so that by the time it was done,
it didn't really look like pizza but he didn't seem to care. He liked
his slice enough that he was ready for another.
Nah, don't think the boy likes pizza in the slightest. :)
Apparently the word wasn't enough for the boy so he's added the wave in addition to the phrase to his repertoire. And if there is something cuter than him waving and saying bye-bye, I don't know what it is...
Alexander pulled himself up to a standing position for the first time
today. This isn't the easiest thing to do when the left arm isn't the
most cooperative, But stand he did and he put weight on the left leg
(though he can occasionally fool you by leaning on the right leg a
bit).
We still think he'll learn to walk as a defense mechanism vis-a-vis his
big brother...but it is nice to see some positive effects from physical
and occupational therapy, nonetheless.
