Kathryn has been showing a fascination with the potty recently so we've taken to sitting her on it every now and then. She surprised us earlier this week with a couple of instances of number one.

Last night, we had just gotten back from Screamin' Mimi's with the kids and were changing them into their pajamas for the night.

During Katie's turn, it was proceeding uneventfully until we heard thumps coming from the potty. Yep, that was a complete surprise...number two isn't a problem for her.

Now the trick is consistency putting together The Urge with the potty. As clever as she is, we suspect it won't take her very long to figure it out.

Pampers might well be in mourning when that day comes as their bottom line will be taking a definite hit! :)

She's certainly not playing around...I'm thinking she's about as tired of her diapers as we are (three kids for the last five years...yeah, I'm thinking we'll be more than happy when everyone is in regular underwear!).

Little one has shown herself to be quite the clever girl.

Right now, all of the kids are into Dora and Diego and she not only repeats what they say but anticipates the story as well. The dancing she does at the end is truly hilarious to watch (in fact, she's doing it right now!)

Watch out world, here she comes. And it may not be very long before she's doing it in style without the Pampers! :)

Katie has been showing plenty of interest in the potty and has even been sitting down on it a few times. You could tell that she was starting to figure out the relationship between the urge and what she needed to do.

This morning, she took her customary position on the throne but then decided to really make our day!

One nice thing about little girls...they don't actually need the shield that is such a royal pain to keep in place with boys who are constantly squirming.
