This is a holiday I can certainly support wholeheartedly and thanks to agreeable pricing on green peppers…it was definitely time to get my Magyar on!
So the headliners are töltött paprika (stuffed peppers and my personal favourite) and töltött káposzta (stuffed cabbage).
And when I’m done stuffing peppers and cabbage, then it’s time to do some egg noodles and shred the remaining cabbage for káposzta és tészta which works well with kielbasa.
Putting them together is pretty easy…enduring the wonderful smell for hours on end is the really hard part! 🙂
