This afternoon was more than a little bit exciting with a pretty nasty line of storms coming through with the highlight being all of the iPhrenalia screaming about a TORNADO WARNING being issued for this area with the centre of circulation indicated in the area of the Sam’s Club on South Saunders Street and heading right this way.

A quick look at the radar and a peek at the direction of the clouds outside confirmed that nastiness was heading this way before it finally took a slight turn to the south and passed between my house and I-40 roughly south of Poole Road.

But as you can see, I was dead centre of that red cone of probability but other than a bit of breeze bending the trees behind me, all was well by the time it was all said and done. 🙂
