Tonight’s theme is another one of those that came together very quickly in about a half hour from the biggest story in the news from over the past weekend.

And the title is ironic for multiple reasons… 😉

Get Lucky

The iPad is having a go at me…

During the second game, I noticed that the iPad’s perverse sense of humour had come back with a vengeance with three songs in a row that were more than a little ironic given that right before Nicholas and I were due to leave for the rink in Wake Forest, I had a bit of unpleasantness of the spurting arterial sort.

OK, a lot of that unpleasantness if I’m really candid about it such that Judy Hopps from “Zootopia” would clearly understand the predicament!

It eventually decided to stop during the first game (due in large part to the coldness of the rink likely constricting the offending blood vessel enough to allow clotting to actually occur) but it was more than a little awkward looking like I was the “after” in your average episode of ER with a fairly impressive amount of leakage on the shirt.

And ironic given the theme of the songs when I think about it! 🙂

But don’t think I didn’t notice the sublime irony of the iPad working in a mysterious way when these three songs just happened to go in this order… 😉

Post-Game

With all of the excitement of the exsanguination variety earlier this evening, let’s just say there’s one track that I had no problem letting fly as I was finishing up the paperwork and packing up my kit for the drive back home… 🙂
