From the “Something Doesn’t Quite Add Up” Dept:

So President Trump tells the nation that he’s taken the COVID-19 test given his contact with people who have tested positive for the virus.

But then he’s waiting 1-2 days for the lab to report the results?!?

How is it possible that the most powerful leader in the world or at least his CDC chief can’t be bothered to fast-track those results given how much interest there is from the media?

I’d understand if someone said the speed of the results wasn’t relevant because he’s currently asymptomatic but even then, fast-tracking one test of the leader of the country isn’t going to significantly slow other testing.

Just seems a bit weird to me…

It’s total bullshit just like everything else about him.

I think it is more than that…his administration comes off as amateur at best.

You would think that the doctor or their bosses would have insisted on doing whatever it takes to get a result as quickly as humanly possible…even if it meant driving the sample to the nearest lab personally with a Secret Service agent and get it run straightaway.

If that occurs to someone who is not a professional administrator by trade…should we not expect that at least someone in the administration really should know what they ought to be doing?

I’m quite sure he’s just lying for some nifarious reason.

    Spelling?

    Nefarious. A lovely and delicious word… 🙂
