If that first grand prix in Bahrain is any indication of the possibilities of the new season, the world championship fight should be one of the most epic ones in memory!

It’s not often you can watch a grand prix and truly be OK with whoever came out on top in the end, particularly when it was that closely fought in the final five laps.

Will Red Bull use their new found pace and stability to truly challenge the mighty Mercs who have shown that they are vulnerable?

Or will the Silver Arrows make it eight championships in a row considering how far they’ve come since testing when the car was described at one point as “undrivable” thanks to the new aero restrictions.

This season has the possibility of being as hard fought as Hunt v Lauda or Senna v Prost and for the first time in many years, I can’t tell you who will be the last driver standing in the 22 grands prix to come.

And THAT is a good thing. 🙂
