When the news broke of the passing of Bobby Weir, I was shocked that I didn’t have a single Grateful Dead track in the library.

It wasn’t that I didn’t like the Grateful Dead…far from it!

But when you’ve only got a teeny tiny bit of money in iTunes gift cards and a breathtakingly broad appreciation of various rock groups, there’s going to be the odd group that somehow just managed to fly under the radar.

Fortunately, this happened to be one of those times that I could remedy that severe lack of the Dead in the tunes library for a lovely theme playlist… 🙂
