Oh, I think it’s safe to say that I’m still missing my Traverse if this set is anything to go by.

And I will for probably quite a while but I will say that having a chance to work through the fact that she’s no longer in the garage and I can only hope that her parts are bringing life to other Traverses out there through the music has helped tremendously.

Think of it like this…remember when you were a child and you were losing your teeth (and hoping for a huge payday from the Tooth Fairy!)?

If you were anything like me, I’d be constantly poking my tongue through the gap where the tooth used to be until the new one came in and made that much more difficult!

Every time I come back to the house after driving Nick’s Camry and park up outside the garage is yet another reminder that she’s gone and sometimes it bids fair well to drive me mad and other times there’s that wistful feeling for just how much she meant to me through the years.

That’s what’s wonderful about music as you never quite know what songs will evoke the right emotions to find the right path but being able to choose which ones get cued and played over the speaker system goes a long way toward doing just that! 🙂
