We start off the MCHL “Race for the Cup” with a bang starting with a little bit of Emerson, Lake & Palmer with their take on Aaron Copland’s classic before delving into our mini-theme for the single game celebrating today being the birthday of lead singer Morten Harket whose blockbuster hit “Take On Me” propelled the Norwegian synth-pop band a-ha to the top of the charts in 1982!
As memorable and ubiquitous as that song was in Europe, the music video that accompanied it was groundbreaking with it’s very creative mix of live action and animation that was quite memorable! 🙂
Oh, and there’s the small matter of the first game in the Helios Division with the Wendigos (#3) visiting the Oni (#2)! 🙂
