My fastest time through a Chick Fil-A queue ever just occurred at the Mos Eisley location and it was during dinner time no less! 90 seconds from entering the queue to having the food aboard and leaving. 90 seconds!
Sometimes all it takes is a song to bring back memories of long ago. Boz Scaggs' "Lowdown" is one such tune for remembering a restaurant called "Tuesday's" in Cross Creek Mall!
I think someone might have finally found a foolproof way to ensure that would-be solicitors bugger off and leave us alone! :)
The marketing geniuses at Wegman's completely change the heart of the store and the groceries that should be their core business offering are pushed toward the back and all jumbled up to boot so I have no clue where anything is!
Miguel and Jessica show their new neighbourhood the shock and awe campaign of fireworks we've enjoyed these past few years in the cul de sac! :)
I was going to give the new Mos Eisley Chick Fil-A a couple of weeks to get their feet under them before trying the drive-through. Yeah, that plan worked a treat. ;)
I'm sure Tom Smith must be rolling in his grave with the state of the Food Lion grocery stores round here! :(
There was no way I was going to visit the new Chick Fil-A in front of the Mos Eisley Wal-Mart. A special trainer imported from Fuquay-Varina convinced me otherwise! :)
I could go on and on about Father's Day but Alex seems to have stuck the landing with a perfect 10! :)

Rishi Sunak announcing a general election for 04 Jul in the pouring rain with blaring music trying to drown him out in the background seems par for the course for a PM likely to get rinsed in the polls!
When a door-to-door salesman is apparently too thick to take the hint the first time, frankly they deserve what comes their way...
Sometimes you've got to have some Jersey Mike's and for me it's going to be the hoagie secret menu item...the #12 Cancro Special! :)

Sometimes it takes walking quite a bit to come home and find what you've loved and cherished all along.
Why does General Motors make what should be the simplest of tasks under the bonnet an absolute living hell for people who actually wish to mend their vehicle?!?
Since canceling Amazon Prime, Amazon has done wonders validating why I should have done it much sooner by not having the courage to ask the most dangerous question of all: WHY?
Is it too much to ask for an office supply store to not be a temple of suckage?

It's not about the income but rather the outcomes! --- Dr Marion Gillis-Olion (Fayetteville State University)

Well, that bit of joy at having a pair of electronically tax returns accepted by the IRS computers was rather short-lived... :( I suppose there's a first time for everything! Digging a little deeper, this is the reason why NC DOR let that particular corporate tax return escape the ecto containment system and come back to haunt me: And that's where the story gets really interesting...if you're a tax nerd, that is! Like the individual…
