I bet that turn of phrase is probably one of the rarest you will ever hear!
Yesterday, I’d been bemoaning the fact that Sundays are days bereft of the Lord’s Bird and had a serious case of the hangrys for that amazing bit of chicken breast on a bun with those two crucial pickles.
Fortunately, I had just enough time to come down the hill to the Mos Eisley Chick Fil-A to put that longing to right… 🙂
They’ve fiddled with the mobile order queue a bit where the check-in QR code is on a more permanent sign further down the lane that I almost missed it.
Fortunately, one scan and a couple of minutes later…that paper sack of wonderfulness was in the driver’s window and I was back out onto the New Bern Ave to head the rest of the way down the hill to Enloe to collect Alex!
Mind you, I did get a bit of a pout from him when he saw the massive cup o’ lemonade in the cup holder as well as a couple of attempts to bogart my drink but I’m sure we’ll share the Lord’s Bird soon enough! 🙂
