When we last left this depressing tale of dealing with arguably the worst credit bureau on the planet, supervisor “Sunny” in Bangalore had promised to put a full copy of my credit report in the post showing my name has been corrected.
That bit of mail arrived today and indeed the contents of the credit report (which looks really nice and would be so lovely if they could generate this PDF from their actual website!) do indeed show the proper spelling of my name.
But I wish I could say that I was surprised that the address showing through that window in the oversized envelope had…you guessed it…the *INCORRECT* spelling of my name yet again!
I realise that they’ve spaffed their “customer care” function to the most hopeless group of people in all of Bangalore (and that’s saying something!) but you would think that at least one programmer in their employ might have even the most basic sense of attention to detail like making sure the address matches the contents.
It doesn’t exactly fill one with confidence especially after the last month of dealing with these people and their employer.
At this point, I don’t think even the legendary Gunnery Sergeant Hartmann can square these yo-yos away and I just can’t face having to ring them up and deal with the breathtaking stupidity on offer from them in the next decade or so.
If even then. 🙁
