17 February certainly had some excellent choices when it comes to movies released on that day of the calendar.
And indeed 37 years ago, that excellent choice would have been “Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure”. Who couldn’t like a couple of aspiring rockers who would inspire the mantra of the future world:
“Be excellent to each other. And party on, dude!”
It’s certainly a lovely soundtrack.
But if we’re honest, the only real choice was the movie that took the world by storm five years earlier in 1984 because “Footloose” had a truly banging soundtrack and that’s what we’re rocking tonight!
After all, when you’ve got Kenny Loggins and Quiet Riot in the same playlist…how can you go wrong?!?
