One of my favourite live concert experiences ever was getting a chance to see Stevie Wonder playing at the Ocean Centre in Daytona Beach in the late 1980s.
It’s not a particularly huge building but the acoustics were absolutely wonderful and Stevie’s piano in the centre of the arena immersed all of us in an amazing concert where many of us were singing these songs along with him.
So when I saw that “Songs In The Key Of Life” hit #1 on the charts fifty years ago today, there was no doubt about what tracks I’d be spinning tonight!
