“US President Donald Trump has vowed to overturn a legal ruling which suspended his ban on travellers from seven mainly Muslim countries.

He described federal judge James Robart as a “so-called” justice whose “ridiculous” opinion “essentially takes law-enforcement away from” the US.”

As opposed to a so-called President who apparently doesn’t have the first clue about what the Constitution actually says and means nor does he seem to be all that concerned about the RULE OF LAW with all of these inane executive orders he’s been issuing that’s been begging for a judicial smackdown?

Pray tell, who is actually acting “ridiculous” and process completely embarrassing himself and humiliating his country in front of the world?

Here’s a small hint…it isn’t the judge whose job is to understand and apply the LAW!

Mr President, I would once again urge you to consider that you have two ears and one mouth for a very good reason…your ears should be used at least twice as often as your mouth! In fact, one would have thought that the business world would have taught you that whilst “it is better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to open your mouth and prove it conclusively” is a great life lesson, it’s even more critical in business and certainly absolutely essential when one’s words directly affect the lives of most of the people living on this planet.

Your country should be far more precious to you than your apparently exceptionally fragile ego…the Twitter tantrums and ill-considered words and actions do not project an air of confidence and strength but rather that you’re a patzer from Queens who is in way over his head and a small person unworthy of the office you now hold.

I hope that at some point you might wake up from the madness that afflicts you and realise the damage you’re doing to your country and your fellow citizens and might well consider reversing course to act as a force for good rather than evil. But unfortunately your past body of work does not fill me with confidence that you have the humility and wisdom to accept that roads go two ways and that all you have to do is turn round and head in the right direction.

It is unfortunate that absent a major volte-face on your part, we’re left with having to endure and survive your presidency rather than thrive as a result of it. The hope in our Pandora’s box is that the Constitution has survived for 230 years through administrations that approached the level of badness and corruption we’ve seen these past few weeks (Warren G. Harding and Teapot Dome comes to mind) and the Constitutional crises from Nixon’s Watergate coverup and resulting distrust that our government is STILL trying to overcome.

It’s a beautiful document that I try to make an effort to visit at the National Archives when I come to Washington DC. You might try reading and comprehending it sometime…Article II and the First, Tenth, and Fourteenth Amendments in particular make for good reading for someone in your office.

Sadly, I’m thinking that the Fifth Amendment is going to get a lot more use from your administration than the ones I just mentioned.
