Tonight’s theme is all about the #1s starting with the top album on the Billboard Hot 200 chart on this date in 1976…Fleetwood Mac’s self-titled album.
It’s a pretty darned awesome record in and of itself but what really sold us on playing it as much as possible tonight is that it’s the first Fleetwood Mac album featuring Lindsey Buckingham on guitar and Stevie Nicks as lead vocalist! There is *NO WAY* we’re ignoring that milestone!
Just don’t pay attention to that awesome track at the end kind of breaking the theme but the guys were out on the ice doing warm-ups…

I had “Dream Weaver” cued hoping a certain player would score but alas, it didn’t happen tonight. But there was nothing stopping me from spinning that track along with Pat Metheny as we did as the song title implies to meet our favourite Camel and let her reclaim the boot of her Prius by unloading her dorm refrigerator she’s not using this year (as she’s in a posh campus townhome!) and my treasured titanium hand truck… 😉
